Sunshine Signature Events specializes in non-denominational, interfaith, and secular ceremonies for weddings and vow renewals.


Absolutely! Sunshine Signature Events encourages couples to customize their ceremony to reflect their unique love story. We work with each couple to create a ceremony that is tailored to their preferences.

To get a marriage license in Florida, both parties must:

  • Be present to apply and sign the form
     
  • Provide a valid photo ID and proof of age
     
  • Provide Social Security or alien registration number
     
  • Submit a premarital counseling certificate (if applicable)
     
  • Disclose details of any prior marriages
     
  • Pay a $86 fee ($61 with counseling certificate)
     
  • Confirm they’ve read Florida’s Family Law Handbook
     
  • Be at least 18 (or have parental consent if under)
     
  • Wait three days (waived with counseling or for non-residents)
     
  • Hold the ceremony within 60 days of license issuance
     


 

It is not a requirement. The benefits of premarital counseling include a waiver of the three-day waiting period for the license to become effective, and also lowers the license application fee. The course must be completed within the last year and include a certificate of completion to qualify.
 


All regularly ordained ministers of the gospel or elders in communion with some church, or other ordained clergy, and all judicial officers, including retired judicial officers, clerks of the circuit courts, and notaries public of this state, may solemnize the rights of matrimonial contract, under the regulations prescribed by law.

We do not! Our package pricing is currently all-inclusive of taxes and fees. What you see is what you pay! 


 


A deposit is required with online booking. Online payments are processed through GoDaddy Payments, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.


For paying the balance of your event package, Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp are also available. Please let us know if you would like to use this option and we will send you the details!

Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Sunshine Signature Events, we are honored to reserve your wedding date and commit that time exclusively to you. Because wedding dates are limited and once reserved cannot be offered to other couples, the following refund policy applies.


Booking & Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of online booking in order to secure your wedding date.
  • Your date is not considered reserved until the deposit has been received.
  • Once your date is secured, that time is held exclusively for you and removed from availability for other clients.


Why Deposits Are Non-Refundable

When you book with us, we immediately reserve your specific date and time. This means we decline other inquiries for that same time slot. Due to the limited nature of wedding dates and the advance scheduling required, deposits compensate for the lost opportunity to book another event.


Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds will be issued within 90 days of the scheduled event date.
  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion.
  • All approved refunds will have a 10% processing and administrative fee deducted, unless otherwise stated in writing.


Processing Fees

All refunds, when applicable, are subject to a 10% deduction to cover payment processing fees and administrative costs.


Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your ceremony, we will make every effort to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests within 90 days of the event date may be treated as a cancellation if we are unavailable for the new date.
